Dennis,
I find that unless I am specifically going on a spirited drive on smooth roads I leave my buttons alone. The PASM is definately stiffer than I like during rides to and from work. Trust me it can be jarring and way stiffer than anything your BMW at it's stiffest settings.
From a testing perspective, sure, every button should be pressed to make sure it works but I would not go out of my way to drive around with PASM pressed unless you are going for a fun run
Littlegreen, thank you for insight. I find the Porsche nomenclature a little confusing. Are you saying PASM left in "default"(buttons left alone) is jarring, or just jarring when you set it to Sport Mode (led light on). With PASM left alone is ride ok for you? Thank you, Dennis
The PASM will start in normal, you will have to push the button to put it in sport mode. You will get a light on the PASM button and a "PASM Sport" message in the display.
