Default Anyone running Michelin Pilot Super Sports?

Is anyone running Michelin Pilot Super Sports on your 997? I currently have PS2s and have an upcoming tire change. I thought I'd try something different for the DD. Interestingly, the handling rating for the PSSs is higher than for the PS2s.

I run them on my Turbo and highly rate them (as does pretty much everyone else who has tried them). I came from RE050A's though so can't comment on the older Michelin.

Awesome tires. Never had PS2's. The price point for the Super Sports can't be beat. I'm sure if they get a N spec rating the cost will go up.

About two weeks ago I installed my second set of Michelin Pilot Super Sports on my 2010 997.2 C2S. Love them. Compared to the PS2, they wear better (longer), are better in the rain, grip as well as the PS2, and are less expensive. What's not to like!

Love them - also a great value. Not getting anything else when the time comes again.

I got them several months ago. Really great comfort and ride so far. I did some research and can't understand why anyone would pay up for the PS2. I would suggest getting the 305s for the back

I switched from PS2 to PSS and have been very happy. They last longer, cost less, and you give up very little if anything in daily performance.

Michelin PSS on my 997S - very happy with them. Other tire I like is the Pirelli Corsa R compound, awesome grip once they warm up.

While I don't track the car, I gotta say they're awesome.
I had PZero Rosso's before but the Super Sports are so much quieter ans sticker at temp.
And the wear is so much better as well. I expect twice or more life from them.

So you have the 305s on 19 inch rears? Do those fit nicely?

I'm wondering this myself. I have 295s but read that the 305s will fit on the standard C2S rim offerings. If there were some benefit to having the 305s, I'd go that route but don't know enough at present (such a balance between handling, etc.).
