anyone know how to access the fuel cap actuator? looks like the garage that repaired my car didn't connect it back up when they screwed all the parts together and rather than try to argue with them that it was their fault, I'm going to try and connect it back up myself.

is it accessed via the wheel arch liner?

Remove front right wheel housing liner (part A).

If you need to open the door until it gets fixed, for my 997.2 it's accessed by opening the door on the side of the gas door and there is a release handle near the upper hinge point.

 

That was literally the only thing the mercedes dealer i bought the used car from showed me. Temporary access to fuel fill cap is just as described above. Open Passenger Door, look at top above the hinge you should see the pull handle. This device is also connected to your lock, so when you lock your car, its supposed to lock the fuel fill door.
