Default Expiring warranty

I just purchased a 2011 997 and found out that i have appx 3 months of warranty left. If I take it to a dealer to conduct a PPI and if they discover any issues, I assume the warranty should cover? Or what else should I do to maximize the remaining warranty coverage?

Drive the car. If the lim-fac is TIME (limiting factor) then drive the snot out of it. You need to discover as many issues as you can in those 90 days.

Most Porsche warranties are never truly utilized. The majority of owners are wax and shine owners. Most infant mortality issues wind up paid for by subsequent owners--rarely by Porsche AG.

I took mine to my dealer just prior to the warranty ending and they were happy to go through it with a fine tooth comb. After all, they get to charge PCNA for any work done. They found a few minor things but nothing major.

You can explore extended warranty options before yours will expire.

I would suspect your dealer would go through your car with a fine tooth comb. Trying and looking for issues, so they could bill back Porsche AG. Don't ask if you can pay. See if they will do it for free first.
Make sure they don't want you to change your headlight fluid. That will not be covered. And don't be pissed if they come back and say new tires, new pads, new windshield wipers, summer air replaced with winter air. While they have your car up.
