Default Macadamia Metallic- Thoughts

I'm looking a a nice 08 - 997.1 C4S in this color. I know colors are highly subjective but was wondering from any owners out there if the ended up regretting the picking the color or it really grew on them more.

Im coming out of to BLK/BLK 911s and thought the change might be nice. It looks very rich now but does it old? Resale?

Consider the resale hit you will take as well.

Since you're only looking for validation by gathering opinions, I'll weigh in.

I love the macadamia color and it's very uncommon. I've only seen a couple of them.

That being said, the wrong color interior can turn macadamia from a stylish and unique color into a bad seventies acid trip.

Mine is Macadamia Brown Metallic with a Cocoa top and Sand Beige interior. I love the combination and I haven't gotten sick of it at all.

That looks classy for sure, I love it. That said I agree with the wrong combination it can look bad and no one knows how it will age. I know 10-15 years ago every time I saw a Brown Porsche I always wondered who the hell would have picked that color.

I hear ya... although brown is a color that has been used in the 911 line since the beginning.

I'm not sure what other color combinations were sold. I think that a cocoa brown interior would be too much brown. Black would work along with beige. I certainly wouldn't want to see anything in red leather or blue leather...

Brown 911's are the bomb. Few cars can pull off brown or other muted earth tones like a 911.

Thanks. I must admit, I wasn't entirely sure that Macadamia Brown Metallic was the color for me based on photos alone. Once I saw the car in person at the dealership, I knew I had to buy it.

Macadamia is definitely one of my favorite colors, and I love brown 911's too. Next to Slate Grey, macadamia is probably my favorite color.

Though I do appreciate many of the other Porsche colors the brown tones really suit the shape of the car, but in a very dressed up and classy way.

I think also there is merit to the idea a color will grow on you. I was sort of slow to like the Nordic Gold but have really come to love it, especially on a wide body.
