Default Fuchs Wheels For 997.2

I'm ready to pull the trigger on a set of 19" Fuchs wheels for my Meteor Gray 997.2 C2S Cab. She is my daily driver with 20,000 miles and I plan on keeping her until they outlaw petrol - or until I find a 2012 silver C4S.

My Porsche dealer in Portland, Oregon (we don't all ride bikes and smoke weed here) quoted me ~ $6,500 for a set of factory wheels and tires, which seems very reasonable to me. That being said...

- Does anyone have any recent price points for real Fuchs wheels?
- Do I have any options or am I stuck buying from the dealer?
- Is there anything I need to be aware of when I upgrade (I'm not worried about size as I already have 19" Carrera S wheels).
- Thoughts, inputs, comments and/or suggestions welcome.

Hello,
When I was wheel shopping I got this price quote for my 997.1 C2S

- 8x18 ET 52 (8,20 Kg): 545,- Euro

- 10x18" ET 65 (8,80 Kg): 589,- Euro

- 8,5x19" ET 56 (10,50 Kg): 799,- Euro

- 11x19" ET 51 (11,50 Kg): 839,- Euro

Those are pretty aggressive offsets for the 19 rear. Anyway based on the conversion today a set of 4 19 inch Fuchs are about $4000 here in Germany.

Hope this helps
Cheers
Lance

That is pretty much the going rate for those wheels. Suncoast has them for $5,595 which is about 1K less than what your dealer quoted you.

I know you're looking for OEM Fuchs, but I always kinda dug Rotiform's retake on them...

Either way, awesome wheel!

At those prices, why not order the "real thing"?

The $4k is for the original real deal.. I agree though they are pretty pricey.

Not pointing you out specifically, several have called them Fuchs, but Porsche is careful not to call their wheels Fuchs. They are "Sport Classics". Real Fuchs actually are lighter.

Thanks, looked on their site before, but didn't see these. However, at these prices, think I'll continue to look for someone to swap my black centerlocks for silver.

I have a set of Carrera S2 wheels off of my '09 C4S for sale if you are interested. $2k with shipping. Great condition. One wheel has a small curb rash that is barely noticeable. Save $4k with these!!!
