I would do a search on Rennwerke first on RL. Seems his reputation is mixed and I have gotten the short end of that stick.

Intimately familiar with this shop. Excellent work and will stand by it. Gaspar will most likely do your engine. He has his own 996 racecar BTW. Can't speak to price, but your'e having your engine taken apart....stand by.

They are very busy there. I would take whatever time period you think t will take, and triple it. But it will be done right.

My heads are good, I need to either have my short block rebuilt or buy a new one which I already have a quote for. Basically I need shortblock rebuilt not entire long lock which is very expensive ..When I did talk to cheech he gave me a quote range which fits my budget, this is one of the reasons I'm heading to rennwerke..

Very similar to the car I purchased cylinder 2 and 3 were scored pretty bad. I took the time to do all the maintenance and do a few other upgrades. The rebuild time frames I was quoted were very long wait.

Search in the 964 and 993 subform. Missing parts after service.

Personally, I took my car in for a door latch weld and came back with a ding on the front left fender. Never going back.

Morton competition in Stamford rebuilds 996 engines. He owns a 996C4S and rebuilds up at his house up in VT. I would call him for a quote comparison.

I have heard great things about Musante in South Windsor, CT.
