Actually less than 1qt but I can't quantify to a better degree.

I purchased the car two years ago with 26K miles and it used about twice as much oil. Every year it used less and less and less.

I do my oil changes at 7K miles..... because I do.

Just an observation.

All I want for xmas is a dip stick?

I've heard that with more miles on the DFI motor you burn less oil. Don't ask me how to make sense of this. I just turned 40K followed in a day with 41K. I will do my first (I bought her in September with 35K and had the dealer do the first service) oil change this weekend. I have my dump pan calibrated and will know how much I put back in and then take back out at the next change. From there I can track burn quantity (at the next oil change). Per the on board check I haven't burned any in 6K miles (I am a bit later than planned for the oil change ... hold the grief), but I don't believe that yet. More when I reach 45K in February.

I miss the dipstick ...
