I was once pulled over by a hot, young police officer while doing 75 mph in a 45 mph on my bike. When she pulled me over, she said she had her lights on for a good 5 minutes but I never noticed because of the helmet etc. Anyway, I got a warning.

Not sure if I was more happy about getting the warning or chatting with a hot girl in a police uniform. That was a good day...

Coming back from Texas to Denver on I25 in Trinidad pulled over for no front plate - trooper was a car guy so we talked for awhile...and no ticket. As he left me he asked if I had been speeding and I said only in New Mexico - he got a chuckle out of that.

Given the late hour she was probably looking for an excuse to check for a DUI.

That's most likely it.

Like I said... I was due for a ticket at some point. I'm just glad it wasn't for speeding

Here in Cali they have "fix it" tickets -- a $25 fine and a quick visit to a local LE officer, and voila! Done. That said, I'm sure my wife is due, it not overdue, for a fix-it ticket for her (missing) front license plate. We have it, and the bracket, but just can't bear to wreck the sensuous lines of her front end with it. If and when necessary.

Exactly......Probably disappointed in no DUI bust but @ least she got a small ticket, probably toward the detective exam next week
