My 2006 997 Is Posted For Sale
After having my 2006 997 for over 5 years, I have decided it sits in my garage much more frequently than being driven and am purchasing a new M5 for more versatility.
It is an absolute mint 997 which I purchased in August of 2009 from the original owner. It had approximately 4k miles on the odometer when I purchased it and now just turned to 23k miles.
It is Guards Red over black interior with Porsche Sport Exhaust, PASM, Bose,
19" wheels, heated front seats, rear wiper, power driver and passenger seats, 6 speed manual with factory sport shifter, and Bi-Xenon headlights.
It has been serviced at Porsche since it was brand new and all records are available. I put a new set of Michelin PS1's on fewer than 1,500 miles ago.
The car has never had any paint work nor been involved in any type of accident.
It has never seen snow and only sees rain on occasion.
This is literally as close to new as possible and has been a very, very enjoyable and reliable vehicle to own.
I have priced it at $42,000.00.
Here is the link the vehicle:

I don't know about the price, that is I don't know if it is Papa Bear, Mama Bear, or Goldilocks but that is one fine looking automobile.
That is going to make someone a very fine ride.
You sure you want to sell it?

I have always been an M5 lover and like the practicality of four doors and yet an absolute driver's car. I anticipate putting a few more miles on a new M5.
However, my 997 would look very good sitting in my garage next to an M5.
