997.1 Turbo or 997.1 GT3
I should post this question on 997 Turbo or GT3 forum, but since I am a regular here and I value your opinion, so here is the question. I recently sold my belove 2008 C2S Cab with some exterior mods over the year of ownership and now I am debating between these two 997.1 Turbo or 997.1 GT3. What would you choose and why? Thanks my fellow rennlisters

Do you track or tour?
They are different animals and both are awesome at what they do but they are different. The gt3 is a purpose built track car that is street able. The turbo is a rocket but it's softer and heavier.
I'd go with a gt3 but I like to track.

I already have a DD and wifey car, this car will be a weekend warrior for cruising along the beach or may be some C&C gathering. We don't have a track here in Honolulu, may be some short bursts on the freeway on the weekend. I guess you can say "all show and no go kinda car". I really don't care about comfort because it was not intended for long commute or DD. This might be the last 911 and planning to keep forever for my kids. Thanks

If I lived in Honolulu I'd be looking for a Turbo Cab for some top-down cruising. A few suspension mods and the car will tighten right up. The GT3 is an amazing car as well...just different. For high performance GT touring, turbo all the way.

Have never driven a GT3 but based on the fact that you do not plan to track the car I say TURBO...it is a rush to drive! Just my 2 cents and good luck with whatever you decide...

GT3 might have a lot of things but instant tq is not one of them.
agreed
Agreed.
I love GT3s. But they are toys. You take them out on track, and play with them. They like to be driven on high rpms. TT, you run circles around objects all day long.

I think this with this question if you have to ask the answer is turbo.
GT3 is really in its own on track. Turbo is a great driver and all around car. And stupid fast.
