Hi, I am looking at a 06 911 cab, it is in great condition but there is a small wear spot on the convertible top about 10" above the driver side door . Is this normal? it looks like it is rubbing on something when down, can this be touched up. Thanks for your replies.

There are several "typical wear spots" on our cabs. Sounds like yours could be one. I unfortunately dont know if it is repairable. A pic would probably help diagnose. There are numerous things you can do to diminish the damage, but repair?

Thanks Chris, I was thinking that because the rest of the car is so nice, I guess I could put tape on that spot when I put the top down. One more question is it ok to leave the top down for few weeks or should it go back up when I'm not driving.
