New Vendor Introduction
Hey Guys, I wanted to introduce myself over here on these forums. My name is John and I am with 42 Draft Designs (www.42draftdesigns.com)
About Us:
42 Draft Designs is a manufacturer of aftermarket performance parts for late model VW/Audi/Porsche vehicles. We design and manufacture a variety of products in our 4000ft² facility located in Millersville, MD. The range and diversity of our product line provides only a snapshot of our current and future capabilities. Motivated by the unique, we focus on products designed, prototyped, and manufactured in-house. We can make anything, but we’re not interested in making everything. Our design process allows potential products to be scrutinized with intensity and honesty. Details are emphasized, necessities are challenged, and the finished product stands to redefine. Our design efforts are followed by methodical production, service and support for the life of our products.
The inception of 42 in 2001 was motivated by both desire and disgust. On a very basic level we wanted to design and manufacture products that raised the bar. In those days, the VW/Audi marketplace was populated by fickle companies and disappointing products. The internet was evolving, allowing overnight companies to quickly profit from lackluster products with no standards or consequences. Today the marketplace has changed, but our philosophy has remained intact. 42 exists to design, manufacture, sell, and support an authentic line of high quality products made in the USA. We exceed our customers’ service, support, and quality expectations by default.
We have sold many of our universal parts to Porsche owners in the past, but now we are starting to get into some of the specifics.

Hubcentric fully pocketed wheel spacers
Wheel and Hubcentric fully pocket wheel spacers
Extended R14 Lug Bolts
We also have test pipes and high flow cats for the 996 3.6L NA Motors (We are in the progress of photographing).
42 Draft Designs products are manufactured from scratch in Millersville, MD. We use high quality American made materials throughout our products, manufacturing in-house every component possible. When necessary to outsource, we start with American companies who manufacture their products in the USA. Our 7000 sq/ft Millersville facility is staffed by a team of 12 machinists, metal fabricators and TIG welders trained to work in exacting precision. Our welders take their time, TIG welding each joint with care. From design to manufacturing we never rush, cut corners, or take shortcuts. The quality of our work is reflected in the constant demand for our products. If you guys are looking for anything in particular please let us know! We are eager to start marking more products for you guys! We plan on releasing a whole plethora of intakes, exhaust systems, catch cans and other CNC machined bits for these cars! Cars we currently plan to develop products on: 996 C2, 997 C2, 987, 996 Turbo and 997 Turbo.
