Default Refinished AC buttons

My bottons we're pealing horribly (2006 C2s) so I sent them to stickynomore and here is the result! Pretty good! I'm very happy not having to spend $500 on a new unit!

Wow, yours looked like hammered dog****e. 100% improvement afterwards. Although not correct for purist it is functional and good enough for many.

How much did it cost?

May or may not help with this but could be useful to anyone looking for a paint match for light touch ups. I had a small chip out of the textured surface on one of the windshield vents and can report this paint is an exact match and can even be textured in. I can't even find the chip anymore which means this color is freakishly close. I was about to spend 110 dollars to replace it after I found the chip because I'm a bit of a perfectionist.

Won't let me paste the link, no clue why. It's Folk Art Acrylic Paint - Color code 938 Licorice. Available on Amazon for 3.51 and probably somewhere locally. Identical color match to the standard black interior painted surfaces like those AC *****.

First off, this is a vast improvement to what you had before so you did the right thing. However I would have expected a bit more from Sticky-no-more than stickers for the TEMP and fan blade symbols. A bit amateur in my opinion.

Does any part of the control switch have to flex in any way to remove it or is it something in the main unit that has to flex to free the switch?

check out stickynomore.com website and they have good instructions with good pictures. I just followed their instructions.
Yes! mine did look like .... I recently bought my car (several wks ago) and just had to fix it. Not really a purist, but in all honesty they look great! Unless you look really close most people wont be able to tell the difference and plus, they won't go bad now.
I also installed a Numericracing short shifter and Fister cans this weekend. Couldn't be happier with the mods.
