I got more details on the car. He really took car of it and had it garaged all the time. Serviced only at the Porsche dealership.
Options include:
19 inch carrera sport rims
Boost button (? not sure what this means, something he said about power package)
Nav
CD player with upgraded ipod compatibility

You should do it! Depending on options you mentioned. You might want to ask for "built sheet" that you can get from a Dealer or if he has the window sticker. But sounds like a deal

Hey, I'm very sorry for not replying to the thread. I don't mean to post and run! Been insanely busy with family and new work, I haven't even had time to visit here.
I haven't bought the car yet. Scheduled to test it out this weekend.
I did check out a 09 C4S a few days ago at a dealer to get a feel for the car. First time in a 911 and man it's powerful. The only thing is I'm coming from a Honda manual car, and it was a bit jerky driving the 997. Is this something that can be improved or now I'm considering looking at a PDK.

I can tell you I literally just purchased a '09 C4S and I have driven 4 (2006-2009) Carrera S/4Ss of varying configurations in the past two weeks alone.
1) I wouldn't get wrapped up around the "jerkiness". Like any car, you have to get a good feel for the clutch. However, it's a performance car. PDK is a great option, but you will also limit yourself in selections. No offense, but in my opinion, there is always a little skill and art to working the clutch, so you decide if that's you. I personally feel the manual gives an added level of driver engagement, but there are payoffs.
2) price is good and the mileage is great. Truthfully, maybe too good, but I'm not sure. The last 2006 I looked at was a well equipped S with 26K miles (manual, sport chono, heated seats, Nav) and the dealer wanted $49k.
