Sorry you couldn't make it. The 5 of us had great weather, fairly empty roads, and Canepa is always a treat. Their last Cars n Coffee will be the 2d Saturday in October. You should try to get there.

What a fantastic morning, thanks Joe and nice to meet the rest of you. The car collection today blew my mind. Are you guys going to post up some pics here? Sorry I had to bail a little early , I went looking for the rest of you and told Joe to say bye from me.

Looking forward to the next one!

Ronan

Great meeting you all, and to finally meet David & Ronan who I've been sharing threads with for days-

Canepa was even more awesome than I had expected and I had pretty high expectations! Haha

The drive back was a charger too.

Probably I'll create a thread for the pics, unless one of you all, or another rennlister beats me to it.

.. but I will park these two here for now:

Good times, and thanks for having me along.

- Dan

Thanks for posting those, I'm still reeling from the platter of awesome at Canepa's . The content is certainly 'new-thread-worthy'

Since you're an ex-M Roady owner, here's a little pic of the car I didn't bring this morning!

Joe, many thanks for organizing the drive and visit to Canepa's exceptional workshop!

I'm sure glad that you got hungry and inspired me to come outside, otherwise I suspect that I'd still be wandering around.

It was great to meet y'all and I look forward to the next time we get to play...in the meantime be well and keep the shiny side up!

P.S. Here is one pic of the happening from the outside...the really good hardware was inside and I'll post more when Dan starts the new thread...

Methinks that I (greatly) prefer your very special Targa 4!

I will totally swap it for your C4S.....

In all seriousness I do love it, but the 997 is so much more dynamically superior.

I feel the same way about my '12 MCS vs the C4S!

Looking forward to the next playdate...11th CSRG Charity Challenge at Sonoma Raceway is fast-approaching (Oct 3-5).

Hi Guys, my pleasure. Always fun to get a group together for an outing. We can thank Scott for initiating the conversation. Next time, we can go further south for some triple-digit runs.

I'll tag onto Dan's pic thread once he has it up, but here are a few of my favorites:

Methinks that a parade over the GGB and to points north (before the end of the year) is also a decent idea.

Comanche & I will even escort that very special GTS back to the bridge later in the day.

Did someone on the drive want a Shark Werks center muffler delete as I have on my car? If so, see https://rennlist.com/forums/parts-ma...-4-4s-gts.html

See https://rennlist.com/forums/west-us-...ri-9-19-a.html for a drive next Friday.
