Mike,

Good luck with the sale.

What's next? Possiblty a GT3 now that the light weight Bucket Seats are available?

Yep going to consider GT3... Maybe Vette Z07 if I fit. I hear the Vette has zero room.
Going to slowly start pulling off mod parts and selling them.

Mike,

I hope the GT3 works out for you. I know you have wanted one for a good number of years, but couldn't get one because of the manual transmission. With Porsche putting the PDK the 991 GT3, this seems to be a perfect set up for you.

Good luck in your search next Spring.

Thanks Tim, I'm going to weight out everything when the time comes. For now I hope to sell my mufflers.

No, it is not broken. It is listed in the Members Forum, meaning only paying Members have access to any of the Menber Forums.

Since you are a User, you can't access the listing.

In case you are interested... a 1 year Membership is $17.95 and a 2 year Membership is $32.00.

For those that can not access the link...I got all your pm's emails....here ya go...

FS: 2009-12 Carrera M&M/FVD EXHAUST
FVD “BROMBACHER” Street-Sport Muffler System for 2009- 997.2 / 997.2S
Made by M&M Racing Exhaust. This was the Approved Rolex Grand Am Exhaust from the headers back to tips! The video clip is of my car..75% throttle take off. The photos are FVD's. I am taking this exhaust off my car this week and will post photo's this weekend. I am slowly returning my car back to stock to trade in next spring. This exhaust sounds awesome. It can have a slight exhaust sound in the cabin at 2000-2300rpm under slight throttle. Cruising at 2500-3000 rpm there is not drone. Full throttle it wails! It's not the loudest exhaust I've had but it's not quite either. Total intoxicating sound!

FACTS:

- + 15 crank hp & + 13 crank torque
- 2 ½” (63.5 mm) diameter tubing (reduces thermal stress)
- Replaces OEM primary and secondary mufflers
- Reuses OEM headers and 600 cell cats (No CEL, retains OEM software)
- Weighs 20.94 lbs. (9.5 Kg)
- 33 lb. weight savings over factory system
- T 316 stainless steel for improved durability over T 304
- Uses the spring lock race system design to dampen vibration
- Intoxicating growl at idle, partial throttle and wide open throttle
- No DME programming necessary
- Reuses factory tips or any aftermarket tip designed to fit OEM exhaust
- Tips are fully adjustable and pivot on 360-degree clamp
- Made in Germany
- fits any Carrera 2009-2012 997 model

New Cost is $2365. For Sale $1500 buyer pays shipping.

Here is a link to FVD website...this is the exhaust I'm selling. You do not use the side mufflers. You will see the 2 center mufflers in the attached photo. Please go to the link to see more or read the post above. This exhaust rocks! I hate to uninstall it but I'm slowly putting car back to stock.

And a video of my car with this exhaust...use high end head phone or studio monitors...your laptop speakers, iPad and phone speaker, computer monitor speaker will not be the best way to listen!

991 or 997 GT3? I assume with your leg, it must be 991...

BTW, since you are leaving your GTS... how do you rate that car as mainly a daily car, plus having the capability of running max 4-5 track sessions/year? I am also considering a change next year and not sure which way to go... curious to know if GTS is significant of a upgrade over 997.1 S?

Over the 997.1's I've had yes the GTS is a nice step up. You can daily drive it for sure but you could daily drive a gt3 too. All depends on your personality and what you like. Personally for me I'd never daily drive a 911. Too small for me...I'm more of a SUV/truck guy for daily driving.

+1 on the great sound. Mdrums has passed me more than a few times so I've heard it at or near full throttle first hand multiple times!
