Default 997 radiator mesh

I tried a search and have come up empty. Rennline sells a kit for $275 for this. Is there a less expensive option? Is it easy to just cut my own and fit? I'm installing the third radiator next week...

There are some threads on DIY mesh here, need to search.
I installed the Zunsport ones from the UK, IMHO they look really good but also pricey.

Thanks!
I always love when people say; "do a search" after I posted that I tried...
Put 997 grill mesh into the search window and that DIY thread doesn't come up...

Default 997 radiator mesh

I used a black plastic mesh I found online in Australia.
Used some cable ties attached to the struts for the sides and some screws for the centre mesh. Still trying to work out how to hide or replace the screws. Any ideas welcome.

I screwed mine in from the back into the black plastic trim piece, you cannot see any part of the screws from the front.

My DIY is in the 997 DIY stickie. And yes, you can cut your own. See https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...protector.html

Gutter mesh found at Home Depot or Lowes. Cut to size and screw into back of bumper.

I bought my mesh from Rhonda at FVD. Screwed and glued into place. Actually Viper Bob who works at Vortex came over and helped me.

I did mine last weekend using some aluminium mesh from a local motor parts shop. Took about 90 minutes start to finish for two side grills. I used fine cable ties to attach them. Total cost £25 ($40ish)
