Hi,
I am in the process of putting black aluminium grills behind the side grills on my front bumper. I have the mesh and the template and have one cut to shape.
Bit I can't seem to be able to remove the vertical plastic bar. It seems to be attached at the top, bottom and to each of the two horizontal bars.
Can any one help with the trick to removing these. I thought they just pushed out and I am scared of damaging the bumper.
UPDATE
I took a closer look and saw the clips. Vertical bars now removed and mesh grills fitted.
Looks great and hopefully will stop all the leaves etc getting at the radiators.
Just one thing I noticed. The horizontal bars are now quite flimsy. I assume there is no problem here.
Thanks

I realize that you've solved your problem but there's a DIY stickie on the 997 forum (third topic) that covers this topic. When I installed the mesh on my 997.2, I took pics and wrote it up. Here's a direct link. Dave

I did read that thread (thank you for that).
Think it was just me not knowing exactly how to undo the clips. It took more force than I expected.
Thanks again.
