Sometimes when the window is cracked about an inch or so and I toggle the up switch it goes up and then down to about halfway - anybody else's do this?

 

Different window but my sunroof did this... p-dealer serviced it under CPO. A pinched wire connected to the SR motor... intermittent but especially notable on hot summer days.

 

It has probably just lost its memory setting. Instructions on how to reset are in manual. Pretty sure the procedure is to hold toggle switch until window is in full up position. Release switch and press again for about one second.
