I miss my Indy...
So, took my car into the local Porsche a Dealer for an oil change and had them look at the cab top which suddenly develop a squeak on the passenger's side. Service writer calls me to say the tech wrote it up recommending a brake system flush. I tell him to do it if he could give me a compelling reason why my car needed a brake system flush...at 6,800 miles. He laughed and said I was probably right.
Still better than when I took my 996 in for them to look at my leaking AOS and the guy looks at me and says, "What's an AOS"?

Well I am not normally one to stand up and defend a dealership, but the recommendation you got to flush your brake fluid is not out of line. Porsche recommends this be done every 2 years regardless of mileage. Since you have a 2012, it's about due. If you care, here's a link to a thread I responded to on 6speed regarding brake fluid flushes (reference post #8).

Now if the service manager said the mechanic recommended you "get your back seats adjusted," then you know they were trying to take you for a ride LOL.

The tech was right. Brake fluid is hygroscopic and should be changed every 2 years, and low mileage garage sitting cars fare even worse.

Another wrinkle. The dealer was kind enough to check my tire pressure as well. For some reason they inflated my tires to 40/46 (cold tire pressure, 19" summer tires). Just a tad over the recommended 34/40. Glad I did not have a blowout once they heated up.
