Default Low oil pressure warning

Over the last 2 days the low oil pressure warning light has come on momentarily while coming to a stop. Both times it happened so quickly I didn't really have a chance to look at the oil pressure gauge. Otherwise the oil pressure seems fine. Oil level is full. Have never added oil. 2008 C4s Tip with 33,000 miles. No unusual noises. Is this a faulty sending unit?

2.5 to 5 depending upon load and RPM. As I said I did not see the gauge when the warning flashed on.

I would take car out, run it to high oper temp and perform some hard braking to a stop while watching what oil pressure and idle speed do. Some have been reporting low pressure at a hot idle. If it is below a bar I would change to full synth 5-40 like Motul as it has raised my op under these conditions. I really don't know if you can starve motor under braking. There is an oil pickup in the pan that I know can be a problem under cornering. It might be the sender but why when braking? I guess you know for sure that it is the op light.
