Default Does 997.2 have hidden release cable for Frunk?

I am aware of the electrical release which is located in the fuse panel. I used that the other day. It took me awhile to figure out that it only works with the key button. The button by the driver door will not work. I am wondering if there is a cable in the wheel well like the 996 has. I was thinking there might be one on the passenger side behind the escape lever inside the frunk?

The 997.1 has it on the driver side behind the wheel well liner You need to remove the wheel to get to it.

is the escape latch inside the frunk directly inboard of that? The 997.2 has that on the passenger side.

Here is the puzzle: to take the wheel off you need the security socket which is usually in the frunk Might be an idea to put it in the glove box .
There is a wire for the rear lid also on top of the tail light which may need removal to gain access.
