Default 997.2 BT won't pair with iPhone.

I paired the phone to the car ONCE and since then it will no longer connect. I've tried deleting and reconnecting to the device but nothing works. It just times out and doesn't work.

Any advice to getting it to pair? I've never had issues like this before.

Have you tried un-pairing and re-pairing?

Did you delete the phone from the PCM as well as the PCM from the phone ? Maybe turn both off and on after deleting. Also remote SIM access must be on in the phone.

The iPhone does not support rSAP (aka remote SIM access), so don't bother looking for it. My iPhone connects fine without it.

I'd agree with Bijan otherwise, try to clear both the PCM's knowledge of the phone and vice-versa and start fresh. If that doesn't work, you'll want to find it if the problem is with the phone or the PCM. Try to see if the phone will bind properly with another car or device. Then try a different phone with the PCM. Hopefully that will tell you which one is having a problem.

NickS, not to scare you (& w a 2011 you still have factory warranty) but the BT pairing issue was my first indication that my PCM was "getting ready" to quit, or lock up, even w car off and key removed it stayed locked w screen on. It drained the battery once before I figured it out. Got a new PCM under an extended warranty! But the BT issue came first! GL

Porsche loves to overcharge for options, but the one option many of us seem to have received for free is the poltergeist that lives in the PCM. You can rest assured that whatever caused this issue will (a) not throw a code and (b) will not rear its ugly head when the car is in for service.

Mine does not pair from time to time. The only thing that seem to help is turning off the phone then back on. But my experience does not seem to be the same as yours. Good luck.

NickS by trying it again the next morning, the PCM was turned off and on again (rebooted), that could have helped ? Just trying to anger the poltergeist
