we all have different tastes...I'd get rid of the rear emblem and keep the script. I understand why folks de-badge, never understood why folks add badges.

Congrats in the car - I love the color combo.

I'd also get rid of the rear badge and keep the script. The phone is kind of cool, but I would remove it. I also like the Carrera Classic wheels (or are those 18" Carrera III's?) but would have to do something about the chrome.

If you like it the way it is, ignore us and enjoy your car!

Default Thank you

The emblem on the back of my Carrera is the logo of our " Pelican Posse" (an unofficial group of like minded, spirited drivers... ) ;D Chapters now is several states and countries...

Always like to hear about what others might do, or what their taste might be. I own several Porsches and that emblem is on every one. Not to add value (what goes on also comes off) but to do just what it did here (recognize me as a proud member). Some of us like this sort of thing, others don't. Guess that's why some drive Corvettes and some of us drive the true sports car.. Porsche. No substitute.

I completely missed that this was a Pelican badge, which makes it 10x cooler. Stay calm and party on!

I'd like to think Cocoa is pretty rare considering they only made it from 05-08. Then again I'm used to my Cocoa adaptive sport seats which are definitely rare so I could be jaded.

Anyways, nice car! I like the whole package. Super retro. You should get some black stone guards on the rear fenders.

Edit- Here's an idea - what if you removed the Carrera emblem entirely and centered the Pelican Posse logo on the rear decklid!! Talk about cool and unique

Cocoa brown isn't 'rare' just not an overly popular choice. That said, my '06 cab is a full leather cocoa brown car but the phone is a new one for me. Given the quirkiness of PCM 2.1 I wouldn't put much in the phone, in fact I'd rip it out personally. The stock 2.1 PCM w/Bose (assuming you have it,) is limited and cludgy; it works but not that well and considering options for lesser cars in '05 a joke IMO. Assuming you don't have an aftermarket BlueTooth adaptor and are looking to add it, a Tooki or Monobridge are you best options. I have a Tooki the previous owner installed and it's adequate for the purpose.

Maybe next year I'm going to replace my entire 2.1 unit and go with a Alpine head unit to get Sirius, BT streaming and full iPod/USB playback. I most likely will use a MOST adaptor to keep from having to re-wire or replace the stock Bose amp but I'll look at that more when I get down to it.

I see the phone as a nostalgic (maybe curious factory option) not so much from any practical reason. I'll leave it in place. It was certainly very cool in it's day. I have mixed emotions about the chrome 19's. I may eventually swap those out for something a bit more edgey. I like the 19" wheels though. I live in the mountains and the chrome wheels are a bit Scottsdale for my taste. But... they do look great.
Sending you a PM Swoody..

FYI...no one in Scottsdale has chrome wheels on their PCar. We know better.
