I'm buying a 05 997 with an M6 designation. What does that mean exactly?

 

This was a doctor's car and also has a "Porsche" telephone mounted. Was that a factory option? How much I wonder?

 

M6 is a listed option code? If so, that's just the floormats. Do you have your full options list? The sticker should be on the underside of the front hood. My 05 has this code:

M6A Black Mats - Porsche lettering $115.00

As for the phone, yes the PCM had the option for an in-car phone connection which actually required a SIM card installed in the car. My car never had this installed but I still have the phone buttons on the PCM and if I push them it simply tells me that the phone is not installed. I actually installed a Transit BLU HF recently which allows me to connect my cell phone to the PCM thru Bluetooth so I can make phone calls and play music.

 

BTW, I got the M6A code from my build sheet which I pulled with the VIN. That code is not listed on the options sticker.
