Am considering an '08 C2 S, 6 speed. Anything specific for this model year I should be concerned about? Comes w/CPO and of course I will get a PPI.

Hey Hody,

Nothing comes to mind that a good PPI and DME report would miss. Depending on the price and mileage/options, you might consider an 09 if you prefer the updated interior electronics and the DFI motor. I changed from an 06 to an 09 for these reasons, just preferred the updates.

Whatever the outcome, great car.

Best of luck!

KS

I have not heard of anything that would stray me away for an 08 if that was my budget. I wanted a PDK, and that is 09 or newer. Great cars.

Hey ksozay, thanks for the heads up. Certainly the newer electronics and the DFI motor are attractions to upgrade to an '09. Thnx

Hooray for Rennlisters!!!

I have had my 2008 C2S for almost 4 years and it continues to be a great ride.

Great blend of old and new... the visceral feel and modern technology work well in the 997.1

Is the engine in a C2 S a 3.6 or a 3.8?
