Default Stuff flying out of your cabriolet

I have had my GTS cab for 2 months and the only thing that has flown out of the car with the top down is a dry cleaning ticket but a hat blew across the back and I even worry about my jacket lying on the passenger seat.

What are others experiences - things you need to secure?

do you use a wind deflector? I find that it really helps control the "mini cyclone" that gets created in the cabin if I don't use it otherwise.

I will put the wind deflector up if my wife is with me but I normally don't bother by myself. I know you can leave it in with the top up but it reduces the space available for briefcase etc.

I guess that is the right answer, I'm still curious what type of stuff may have flown out though?

yeah, if i don't have the wind deflector up then i have to remember to do a quick once-over to make sure there's nothing loose lying around before i put the top down (if there is, I'll put these items underneath my jacket/hat combo that i keep on the passenger seat).

I also have a GTS convertible, which I really enjoy by the way, and the only thing that has flown out of my car with the top down, was a bee that I was very glad for him to leave.

I can't use the wind deflector because I need the seat all the way back, but the way this car is designed for very limited turbulance, I doubt that I would use it anyway.

I don't use my wind deflector much anymore, but when I did I mostly left it installed but folded down. I put jackets, hats, etc. under the deflector and never lost anything.

If I'm worried about things flying out of the cab I usually place them on the passenger side of the car on the floor. Behind the seats on the floor also does well. Any receipts papers etc I put in the glove box.

Well over 100 mph. Nothing has ever flown out. But, then again, I don't keep crap in my cars.
