911 Carrera GTS 2012, Sebring Laps
I've been looking at the forums trying to find enthusiasts who track their GTS, but I have not found many. Hopefully this thread will get some people motivated to share some videos. Here is a lap I did in Sebring a couple of weekends ago with NASA, HPDE3, Sebring.

Mine is a Carrera S. Here's a Sebring lap. I was held up by the 993 through turn 6 but otherwise a decent lap. 993 gets pretty loose going into 5.

Nice. It seems the 993 was watching his rear view mirror... Which camera do you use?
Here is a link to a few more laps. I came out late to the track, so I started catching the slower cars. The link below has six laps following the warm up lap.

Hey Carlos...GTS driver here...Thanks for the post! I will post some laps tonight. Very smooth driving. Are you on street tires? I didn't hear any tires chirping and street ires really sound off near the limit.....r-comp tires not so much but do chirp and squeal right at the limit. I'd like to offer any help for you on your lines and braking. You are driving the "DE" line and I could help you gain some speed and have fun learning other lines that will get you around the track faster and braking technique. It's hard to hear the engine on the video some I'm not sure when you are on throttle and how much and on the brake.
I'm doing around a 2:27-28 when everything is right. My pro coach Chris Hall who I highly recommend you get a coaching day with did a high 2:26 and consistent 27's. Not bad for a Carrera based car.

I'm still tempted by the PDK GTS. The way my feet work with the 997S pedal set I can't heel/toe on that car to save my life. I just figured out how to do it on my Mustang at Road Atlanta 2 weeks ago, and now my corner exits are very strong. I get home sit back in the 997 and try to practice heel/toe in my garage with it parked, and it's not happening. Maybe just need more practice but I feel like i'm going to have to re-learn how to drive if I switch up the cars. Maybe next year.

Cloudspin, I usually have two hero3+, one mounted on the wind child and one on the rear looking up front. That's the video I uploaded.
Hi Mike,
I'm looking forward to your post to watch some laps. I was using R888 in the front and the Continental ContiForceContact on the back (I could not find the R888 for the rear tires). I was pleasantly surprised by the Continental, although the R888 have perhaps better grip. I'll welcome any feedback you can give me on anything (lines, braking, etc.) You can probably see the rpms from the video, I usually brake a little early and don't push the car much on the turns. I use the stock brake pads and I can get through two weekends (16 track sessions) with one set of brake pads and about four to six weekends with a set of tires (I have tire rack thermal cycle them and that helps tremendously). I wish there was an easy way to filter some of the wind noise out, so that the camera mic can capture the engine noise. I have not come up with anything good yet.

Para82,
I use the paddle shifters, I really like the PDK on the GTS... I'll most likely be doing Daytona at the beginning of November next.

Those 991 PDK's are kicking my *** out there. I'm willing to bet your GTS would of too. I want to try Sebring again now that I can finally exit a turn in the proper gear...
