Agreed. I find it unusual (and disappointing) that there is so few similar items available from the aftermarket for the 997.2. I'm sure there is a pent-up demand for these mods. Even the new 991 series is seeing new accessories available that are rare or nonexistant for the 997.2 series.

I am still waiting for the pics of the 997.2 front lower lip.

Here is a shot of the rear duck tail keep in mind we are still block sanding, filling in gaps etc. before we make the mold. We are including a picture of what the 997.2 front polyurethane lip is going to look like.

So the 997.2 front lip is going to look just like the 997.1 front lip? If so, that's a shame because I am not looking for a reworked 997.1 lip.

I think the outside of the 997.1 lip is flared out too much for the 997.2 bumper cover. I am not sure it will look that good.

Great design. I assume it will be easy then to swap back the original rear deck lid if one wants to revert back to stock OEM?

Also, this means the duck tail will raise up at speed like the standard rear spoiler deck, right? If so, I'd like to see what the duck tail looks like raised.

This maybe the duck tail I've been waiting for!

Maybe a photo of it on a 997, instead of a 996?

Ducktail will not raise. It replaces the raised part of the deck lid. You will need a wiring harness to disable the 3rd brake light and have to have the dealer disable the raised deck warning light at 75 mph or use Durametric Pro to accomplish the same thing.

Listening in to the progress of this ducktail although I too am not sure that I'm a fan as of yet.

Do we know whether it will fit a 997.2 4s?
