Hesitated for the longest time and finally did it. All I have to say is the results in person are much better than pictures can do this upgrade justice for a 997.1 Comes out very clean and oemish. I like the fact that front and rear turn signals are amber led also.

First photo is DRL. Second photo is parking light.

This is really a must have mod for .1

Our stock lights make the car look ancient. Love the aerokit!

First, car looks amazing. Did you install with resistors? Where did you buy from? Was slightly hesitant to go with the dectane LEDs because of a bunch of failures i've been reading on forums. Also, might want to complete the LEDs with side marker led ;-)

I think the reliability of the Dectanes is very good - I've had mine for 3 years - never any problems. What you don't read on the forums are reports from folks with Dectanes (like me) who have never had any problems.

I did not install the resistors. I ordered the entire set (including LED sidemarkers which I did not install...completely forgot actually!) from fishcake on ebay. Was very happy with the transaction. Very good price/packaging/quality. These are a LOT cheaper than when they first came out a few years ago. No complaints.

I have both front and rear LED's, it really updates the 997. No problems with mine also, had it for a few years.

mine came with the resistor already wired in (they were originally from FVD) and I haven't had an issue in 6 months of use. Prior owner did not have any issues either

Looks great! They are one of the best .1 upgrades for sure.

I installed the resistors, only because it seemed some folks would have issues only to then install the resistors and cure them. Figured I'd just put them in from the start.

Not a single issue with mine FWIW.
