Thanks for the comments; although think it makes me even more confused with what route to go

Can't go wrong with the full tubi setup or FVD

I have had excellent customer service with FVD. If you like more honest feedback and information on their exhausts- email them and you will receive a prompt response.

I had more respect for Tubi than to think they were in the running for loudest exhaust system. Maybe OP will rethink his priorities.

Thanks guys. What is the 'full' tubi? I understood they just did a cat-back exhaust?

A full Tubi consist of the Tubi side mufflers plus the center muffler delete (bypass) pipes

Tubi sounds great and is somewhat loud but I think if you want LOUD the either do side muffler bypass pipes or install a cup car exhaust

The question was about loudest. Generally, any combination of the following from one or more manufacturers. Include all these:

Headers flowing into catalytic (cat) bypass pipe flowing out muffler eliminating pipes.

Second loudest combo is having a high performance sport cat instead of cat bypass.

Simpler: 95% of loud factor by just elimination all mufflers.

So far, limited to YouTube, i'm really struggling to find an exhaust which sounds noticeably louder than the PSE. I'm also getting conflicting information; for example, the Tubi sounds NO different in video clips i've seen yet an ex-owner told me he sold his Tubi (cat back) because it was really loud!

Here in the UK it is difficult to find a non GT2/3 that is modified, so there is almost no chance of me hearing a 997.2 Carrera in person. So i'm really interesting in hearing people's views, especially those who have heard a few set ups to compare...

This is what you want....FVD (M&M)...I have it, it's loud but sounds amazing.

That looks good!

Do test pipes mean ECU mapping is a must?

Yes...but Im just using the muffler section (cat back)...stock headers and cats then the crossover tubes and 2 small round mufflers. Lightweight, sounds great and exotic

No way the tubi is loudest.

Can almost guarantee the bypass is loudest unless someone makes a exhaust the eliminates both cats and come straight out the header

Correct Tubi is actually very calm and quiet exhaust and so is AWE. I had it for a while on my 09 Carrera S. My wife loved it. I didn't like it so much....LOL
