Reset service reminder?

Default Reset service reminder?

I had my local indy do some work on my car recently, but they forgot to reset the service reminder, which is beeping at me on every startup. I can't seem to find how to disable it in any of the menus.

Is it possible to reset this without PIWIS or some other tool?

Only way is with either durametric or piwis

just take it back to your indy - they should be happy to clear it for free since they did work anyway. otherwise find someone in your area with a Dura. where are you located?

A bit strange: 3 weeks ago I had an oil and filter change after 5k miles and specifically asked
that the service reminder NOT be reset as this was an intermediate service not required by the manual and no nagging from the system...Your issue probably has another cause, I think.

I'm in the Seattle area. My Indy will definitely do it, it's just a matter of finding time away from work.

I'm gonna buy the enthusiasts version of the durametric and reset my own. It has only 4K miles since the last service but it's a year.

+1 anyone in the greater Los Angeles area have durametric and can help a brother out with resetting the maintenance minder?
