to cab or not to cab...

Obviously, if someone is buying a car as mostly for track use then they are not going to buy a cab. But....for occasional track use its great and you can put the top down for the drive home

I run PCA DE's a few times a year and have no intention of going to R rated tires. In this case, the cab is allowable and more than capable (at least for me)

Can some please for once give me an answer if the backseat room if less in a cab vs. a coupe. I swear when I was back there it felt smaller and even in the pictures the backseat of the coupe looks bigger. I have a couple porsche owners at work telling me the same thing.

There's a sunroof? I thought it was a 4th homelink button. I guess I never open mine. If I could afford to buy a new one, I would try and order it without a sunroof.
A cabriolet to me, its too hot, too dusty, too windy, too noisy, too cold, too much vitamin D, too many freckles and skin issues. I'm currently watching my 8o year old step father get carved up for skin cancer issues. Too much sun for me. So much so, I just had my car ceramic tinted. I look forward to hiding...
stuffing the kids back there or two sets of clubs. That back coupe shelf often has stuff up there too.

Well, looks like it's stained a bit, which a raggtopp treatment would likely fix. Otherwise I'd say probably yes. I have 52k on mine, but it's 3 years younger. Definitely starting to show some of those signs.

I do wash my top using a closed cell yellow sponge (one that won't lint) and car soap, and then let it air dry. My dealer asked me one time what I used on my top to make it look so black and new, so I must be doing something right.

Looks a little rough but it needs a good cleaning and protection application. Raggtop is highly recommended but if it's got wear places I'd pass. There's lot of clean cabs out there but you may need to up your budget a bit or plan on doing some maintenance. A dirty, faded top can be fixed pretty easily.

I would agree that it needs a good cleaning. But the wrinkles are relatively par for the course. You won't ever eliminate them. +1 on the Raggtopp system. Porsche also sells a good cleaning and sealant product.

Please do not cab.
Why not just get a boxster?
The side profile of the car is completely ruined with a cab. Top up or down.
The teardrop shape is gone, and so is the appeal.
The carrera is an iconic design.
