Question P0660, P1043, P0420, P0430 on 2006 C2S (X51)

I've posted this inquiry on a couple of other sites, but I'm not really getting much feedback. Hopefully you experts can help me out.

I Recently picked up a 2006 C2S, with the Carrera Power Kit (X51), and it has about 22,000 miles.

Car has been running fantastic, until the other day threw the check engine light. I ran a scan, using the Durametric, and below are the results that I'm most concerned about (There were a few others, which I'll try to address later).

I'm mostly concerned about the P0660 and P1043.

I've done quite a bit of research, but basically I'm back to square one. I do have the service manuals, but am having trouble locating what exactly the issue is. Car is still running fine (to me), but would like to get these addressed before a bigger problem occurs. Any help or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Note, I believe P0420 and P0430 are being thrown due to the Fabspeed aftermarket exhaust that is installed. I'm thinking that I can install some spacers for the O2 sensors to help alleviate this issue. Please advise if I'm correct.

The log of the codes is as follows: (P0660, P1043, P0420, P0430).

not sure what you can do with this but FWIW:

P0420, P430
Catalytic conversion

NOTE
The catalytic converter monitor compares the amplitude of the oxygen sensor behind the catalytic converter with the amplitude of a computed limit catalytic converter during defined air gulping and enrichment phases. The amplitudes allow conclusions to be drawn about the ability of the catalytic converter to store oxygen.

Diagnostic conditions
- Engine start temperature > -15°C (5 °F)
- Catalytic converter temperature 385 .... 635°C (725-1175 °F)
- Loading of activated charcoal filter < 8
- Oxygen sensing in front of catalytic converter active
- Oxygen sensors behind catalytic converter ready for operation
- 50 seconds (cumulative) within following load/rpm range
- Engine speed 1280 .... 2880 rpm
- Engine load (relative filling) 22 .... 41%
- No fault oxygen sensors, tank vent, secondary-air pump relay, secondary-air valve relay, throttle adjusting unit, mass air flow sensor, no misfire.

The diagnostic conditions can also be established using the PIWIS Tester via the short test "Catalytic conversion". It is not necessary to have the vehicle in motion for this.

Possible fault causes
- Oxygen sensors in front of and behind catalytic converter swapped (position in exhaust assembly)
- Valve lift error
- Aged oxygen sensor behind catalytic converter
- Catalytic converter faulty (pre-catalytic conversion rate too low)

P0660

Electric tuning flap

Diagnostic conditions
- Power supply voltage > 7 V
- Engine start-up and subsequent engine running > 10 s

Possible fault causes
- Short circuit to B+/ground or open circuit in the control line
- Open circuit of power supply to tuning flap solenoid valve
- Tuning flap solenoid valve faulty
- DME control module faulty

P1043

Electric air cleaner flap

Diagnostic conditions
- Power supply voltage > 7 V
- Engine start-up and subsequent engine running > 10 s

Possible fault causes
- Short circuit to B+/ground or open circuit in the control line
- Open circuit of power supply to air cleaner flap solenoid valve
- Air cleaner flap solenoid valve faulty
- DME control module faulty

Thanks fella's for your reply. I did run across that documentation regarding the tuning flap and air cleaner flap, however, since I have the X51 air box and intake, I don't have those solenoids. The X51 intake is different than the S intake.

Just to double check my thoughts, last night I took the air intake apart, up to the Throttle Body. Basically, there is only one sensor in that whole path. The MAF sensor. All the ports in the Carbon intake are all open all the time. So, it basically goes Filter, through MAF, directly the the Throttle body.

With that being said, I'm wondering if the P0660 and P1043 are even valid codes in my situation. Grant you, the X51 was a factory installed option on my C2S. SO, I would have assumed that this code would have been flashed out from the factory, but, I can't be certain.

Any additional thoughts? Thanks for your input guys.
