Another note: If you decide to keep your old clear guards on the car it is essential you do not allow moisture to collect underneath the magnetic guard. It is a bad feeling to lose your stone guard at high speed! Magnetic sticks better to the finish of your car vs thru a clear ppf film.
Thanks,
Dan

Hi Guys,
I was looking for ways to spruce up my new to me 2009 997.2 Arctic Silver Cab and wanted some black stone guards and some "Carrera S" text. I looked on line and found Dan from MagnaGrafik.com.
I bought some sweet magnetic black carbon fiber style stone guards which I think are fantastic looking. ...
Here are some pics. I completely love the stone guards, and will report back after some use with the text. I probably need to play with text location and spacing.

"How are the stone guards working out? Any cautions or lessons learned? Did you purchase the "carbon fiber" look?"
Very well. Just have to remove them before washing. And yes carbon.

I have these as well. Only complaints is that when dirty the stone guards show a near vertical lined pattern. I too have a silver car so it always looks pretty clean and I find myself quick detailing the stone guards to get rid of the pattern. Also the vinyl is starting to bubble after only a few months of use. My car is a driver, rain or shine. I do remove if washing the car.

What version stone guards did you buy? The vertical line pattern is metallic brake dust that is drawn by the magnetic attraction. We see this with cars that see a lot of track use. It cleans up pretty easily.
We have not had any reports of any bubbles developing. I would be curious if anyone else has had this issue.
Thanks,
Dan
p.s. Canyon…thanks for the kind remarks.
