Default Durametric Ready Status... Fuel Tank Ventilation FAIL

My regional "drive clean" program (OBDII scan) showed "not ready" on catalytic converter and evaporative systems.

Drove the car ~30 miles and ran the Ready Status with the Durametric. Cat now says PASS, however "Fuel Tank Ventilation" says FAIL.

I checked/tightened the gas cap and drove another ~10 miles but still says fail.

Any ideas?

In my part of the USA, it means I have to buy a new gas cap.

I would make sure the gas cap is tight, drive it for awhile and re-test. If that doesn't work, try the new gas cap.

Hey Justin, last fall before I put it away, the guy advised me before hand to make sure I drove a good 45 minutes and had a full tank of fresh gas before bringing it in.
