Ok. I will let you know after my "new" wiring is complete. I also found a wiring-diagram/pinout for the PCM2 and it does correspond to your description of wiring (see attachment). At the moment I have wired 8 (brown) and 4 (orange/green) and I need to wire 5 instead of 4 (5 should then be white regarding your description).

Btw. I just removed the PCM again and disconnected the constant power wire from the tranzit blu hf. New record (for me): 7 minutes to remove the whole PCM with all cables Even one advantage of false connecting

It can be done in 5 minutes

And coincidentally, 5 is also the wire you need to tap into

Awesome! The only thing that would never fly for me is the phone mount covering the A/C outlet. Around here we need all the cold air we can get.

@ Mr White: You wrote that you removed the PCM unit but it looks like you have access to all wires from the side. Can you get to it from the side by just removing the panel on the driver side? If not, any tips on how to pull out the PCM?
BTW, where did you get those nifty "3-Leiter-Klemmen"?

Thanks!

@Bandit
You have to remove the PCM to access all cables, but the removal of the PCM is quite easy and no special tools are needed There are plenty of tips on how to remove it upped on this board.

I bought the "3-Leiter-Klemmen" at my local hardware store/home depot (I´m from germany).

i am another happy user. I installed it using European antenna adapter. Over all it was a breeze. I am a picky person, and honestly blown away with the quality of sound. I am using an iphone 6 and sound quality on Sirius stream is as good as any HD radio reception. For the money, no brainer.

I have ordered one from eBay and got it last week. I mounted it on the left side behind the center console and fastened it with velcro. I put the side of the control unit with the LED so that it is easily visible from the outside. Just in case there will be some connectivity issues in the future and I need to see the LED status.

Decided to go for soldering all connections and put self-fusing tape on. Now I am just waiting for the antenna adapter cable to arrive and then I will spend even more time in the garage (winter & snow here now)

I put the microphone close to the ceiling near the rear view mirror. Will remove the ugly clip and make a more clean installation later. It was quite easy to hide the microphone cable in the window lining / A-pillar and then behind the carpeting in the footwell and behind the foot pedals. Has anyone found a better location where it looks clean?

I placed the phone button on the flat surface on the dash to the right of the steering wheel. Made sure first that the button is visible when sitting straight.

Thanks for the support from all of you

I can add pictures with details if requested.

You can use a fuse tap and wire it to the fuse box if you prefer.

I just installed the Tranzitblu in my 997.1 last weekend.

It's been pretty awesome so far, but it appears the microphone isn't working.

Anyone else have this problem? The call comes through, but the microphone for the Tranzitblu isn't picking anything up. I have it paired to my Nexus 5.

Ps. Thank you to ilko for your how-to thread!
