Default do side indicators blink when locking and unlocking

my side indicators function as indicators and blinkers. it blinks when the signals are activated and when the signals are not activated they are kept on as indicators. however, i do not see them blink when i lock and unlock. is this the same for most 997.2's

Same but it is programmable. Mods4cars unit can change that and make car chirp or honk or if you have access to piwis it can be done via that programming too

Ok it seems then that when the dealer programmed the car to have the indicators do what it is doing now, they de-coded the blink when arming feature. Might be time for dealer again.

EDIT Ignore everything I said before, it was wrong.

If the side markers are set as running lights (factory default) then they do not blink when the the alarm is set or unset. If they are set as direction indicators then they do blink when the alarm is set or unset.
