Or you can buy comparable at a lower price from Audi or VW dealers.

Similar and compatible with a lower price. More locations to purchase.

thanks everybody! I have been a jaguar owner/maintainer for 21 yrs, and finally got a 911 just last week. learning to speak Porsche now love it ALOT. changed oil, bled brakes. will do partial drain and refill (no hose removal) just to do it. maybe full drain in future. found some pentosin ++ and will mix 50/50 distilled water, and some water wetter.

thanks! robert

Don't waste your money on the water wetter. That's for a track car without coolant.

Coolant for lifetime as Porsche claim is OK as it is a closed cooling circuit where the coolant is dosed with the proper amount of corrosion inhibitors. However, in the real world a water pump might develop a leak after 5-6 years in service or an expansion tank cracks after 8 years, so coolant will be replaced maybe in a 5 - 8 year lifetime. Coolant does not get bad as long it is not exposed to air.

Replacing the coolant does not harm as long you do it with the proper coolant mixture. Don't use tapwater as that is the worst you can do, use only distilled water.
Just check your expansion tank for proper level - and hopefully you will not see an oil interface as it means trouble.

Would be nice if there were a hose we could disconnect or splice into and stick one end of the hose into a fresh 8 gallon bucket of anti-freeze and the other end into a waste bucket of antifreeze. Start the car and let the water pump exchange the fluid for us as it ran through the system.
