Default 2009 Restraining Strap recall - what problem does this solve for?

2009 C2S coupe.

I am getting a clunk (more like a "spronggggggg") in my right rear (car) over bumps and I cannot find what it is. Some suggest it is my sway bar links.... others say a motor mount.

Given my active imagination, could it be the silent recall on "restraining straps" was not performed on my car? I purchased the car used out of state and do not know who the original dealer was.... the Porsche service records are not common or shared across dealers.

I had the car over a grease pit and really worked the parts with a steel bar.... everything seemed really tight.

Any ideas?

Default Loose muffler?

re original Dealer, your dealer can look up the data on his computer and tell you the name of the original dealer

That strap recall, from my foggy memory which could be totally wrong here, addressed the way the exhaust was held up - the old strap system held things in such a way that could cause a weld or seam to break over time - the new one is supposed to alleviate that. I'd expect that to cause a leak in the exhaust system near the mufflers.
