Good to see someone rebuild a salvage car for their own use. You're getting to know this car in an intimate way. Thank you for sharing!

One of the best threads I've seen lately.

Charles, I used to get up to La Pocatière once a month before I retired. Not a lot of English spoken but there were some very nice people to deal with.

C'est fantastique! Vous êtes un artiste! Keep us updated, it's always great to see a car like that being "brought back from the dead", especially when it's to be your car and not just for pure profit. Bon chance, we can't wait to see the finished product!

Fantastic work, I’m speechless !
Keep it all well documented step by step, especially in case you’ll want to sell it in the future.
And keep us posted, this is way cool!

Bravo! Bon courage... Une 911 avant 25 ans, j' imagine le cadeau que tu t'offriras pour tes 40 ans?!? I was telling him how lucky he was to work on this project at that age. Great thread !

Charley……2 years plus ago my car was rear ended very badly….no engine or chassis damage but a lot of damage nonetheless!

I could have pushed for a total and probably gotten one but I loved her…special PTS order Turquoise Blue and she was going to be my last Porsche….I wanted her!

I took her to real artists and they fixed her perfectly….I mean perfectly…never even one issue.

Funny…I love her more than if I never had the accident because I didn't throw her away like so many do…..Love this car!

Good Luck!

Tom
