I replaced the bulb with an LED one, without adding a new housing, resistor and all that other stuff that needs to be stuffed into the cover. It's prob not as bright as these, but I really want or need to light up my rear plates for a multitude of reasons. I also think the bulb replacement looks good, it's a subtle change.

All my LED lighting is from Del Rey and installed by Del Rey.

Maybe I paid a little more but it worked seamlessly when I left the shop and still works 2+ years later.
