2008 C4S. New to me. I cant find the security lug removal tool/socket. I assume all 997s came with one. Or is that something I have to purchase from a dealer?
Thanks. That's what I figured, some panel that I dont know about. I'll look in the manual for the tool kit. I looked at the manual but didnt see anything, but also didnt know what to look under
I always toss that lock nut set up. The only person it inconveniences, is the owner. The bad guys have all the tools, and if they really want the wheels, they'll just smash the window in, get the tool from the glove box or frunk and make more of a mess. Or they take the whole car. There is no jack in our cars, what are we going to change anyway?
Hope you find your wheel key.
If you can't find the lug key, Porsche dealers have a universal key. They can take the bolts out but you will need to replace them with new security bolts or new bolts if you want get rid of the wheel locks. I bought a CPO car and the key was missing so the dealer did this work at no cost.
