Not really apples to apples, but I recently tried to buy a low mileage, well optioned 2010 4CS Cab certified, and it sold quickly at $79,300. I ended up finding an even nicer 2011, which I will take delivery on next week. Good luck

Ha! Then let's hope that I win the eBay auction where I'm currently the high bidder on a 2012 991 that is way out of my league. (Reserve has not been met).

Edit: oops - this post was in reply to 997_Toronto.

JRW1 - best of luck with the new ride!

I'm of the opinion the car is very nicely outfitted with very low miles and has several high $ options that not all S's have: PDK, full leather, along with some very nice options: reverse sensor (I wish I had that, I'm always nervous parallel parking) and seat ventilation (I have that, extremely nice on a hot steamy day and fairly rare). Having just moved away from a 6 speed to a PDK I have to say I'm loving it.

As long as you've checked CarFax (which only catches major damage by-the-way) and it looks good, I think you are in the right place to pull the trigger. It's not far out of line with a similar car without PDK, without nicer wheels, and without full leather that is currently on my local dealer's website, and just those two options alone are worth several grand.

I should add, I spent months looking for the right car too and am very glad I didn't mess around too much once I found one with pretty much everything I wanted. I was happy with 4k off the original asking price and decided not to let another slip through my fingers for a couple of thousand more in haggling. Good matches can be hard to find.
