Default Seat back protector

I just picked up a 09 C2S for the wife and she'll be taking our son to school 3 times a week. In our previous car (E93 M3 Vert), our son left a lot of shoe prints and general made the seat back pretty dirty. I didn't really care as the car was a lease but with this C2S I actually want to protect the seat back. I've looked online and really not digging the seat back protectors with the straps. Anyone came up with a better solution to this problem? Let me know. Thanks.

I wonder if there's a clear bra-type product out there. If not, perhaps a custom tint shop can put some 3m film on the seat back.
Or, don't put his shoes on until he exits the car Sounds extreme. But how many other thought of this?

Would plasticoat work? I have seen many posters here use it on all kinds of interior bits. And it is easy to remove( from what I hear).

What type of seats do you have, the leather/vinyl covered comfort seats or hard plastic sport seats? Unless you have sports seats, I don't think a plastic film (like clear bra) will work well.

i am not sure what the seats are called but it's leather. You have the pull on latch to move it forward and backward.

3M film is your best option or no shoes...how about shoe covers like the kind service guys use when they come to fix your appliances or clean your carpets?

Put him behind the passenger seat and move that seat as far forward as you can. Will keep the scuffs to a minimum. Wipe the seat backs off once a week.

Gate,

Did you find any good solution for seat back protection? I'm also looking for the same. Let me know.

Thanks,

Don't overthink it - just wipe down the seats once a week. I drop my 8 and 6 year olds off at school 3-4 times a week and while they're older than yours, you can certainly impart the importance of keeping the back of the seat clean. Get him to help clean up his prints. Plus, given how low the seats are, my 6 year old's feet go under my seat anyways.

It's not marriage that causes children. Has nobody ever had The Talk with you?
