Default Anyone ever change color of interior Stitching with a Marker???

I have seen on other forums this is something done, I was wondering if anyone has done so? Apparently it only works if your interior is black and obviously the stitching is light. My car has Red Gauges and Seat Belts as well as Red Stitching on my MA Carbon wheel, I was thinking about changing my gray/silver stitching to red.

i can see why you'd want to change the stitching to red but personally i wouldn't take a marker to a 911.

for sure it wont rub off at all? also changing it back would be next to impossible.

My concern would be that in wear areas that it would fade or rub off, leaving you to always be touching it up.

I hear you, based on everything I have read you just do like 6 inches, wipe with a towel, then continue on. It does not stick to the leather, wipes off easy, but soaks into the thread.

ok that looks AMAZING... as long as it doenst rub off on your clothes or fade (too often) it would work well.

I did it to the steering wheel of my C6Z06 and it held up great. I used red and it held up quite well.

Can you imagine being half way through your seat and deciding it wasn't working out the you way planned?

I actually tried it on the back of my headrest first...I was terrified I'd screw it up. Worked great though.

My first instinct was the same as yours, after seeing a few cars done and nothing go wrong I am thinking about it.

Have to think about it.

i wish there was an inconspicuous area that could be done first in our cars as a test.
