Default TPMS crapping out ... new tires?!

I've researched the topic and can't seem to find the exact solution to my problem, so here is the situation. Please let me know what you think ... TIA!

1. My 997.1 is a 2007 model and has about 47k miles on it.

2. Just put on new Toyo tires front and rear, back in late December (2 weeks ago).

3. The TPMS is failing to initialize and keeps 'learning' no matter how many times I reset the system nor how long I drive (40 minutes to work this morning).

It appears the batteries in the monitors have given up the ghost, but I just put on brand news tires. Is my best bet to buy four new monitors and take it to my tire installer, get them to break the bead, and install?

What a mess. Wish I'd thought of this two weeks ago and gotten it all done at once.

Yes, they have pretty much reached their end of life.

Thanks for the quick response.

I see these replacement sensors at a great price on oewheels, do I also need new stems?

$20 for the stems, might as well incase one breaks during replacement.

You might check with your mechanic and/or tire guy before you order any sensors. I am going to have to put new sensors in my summer wheels when I remount them in the spring and my inde mechanic says he can get OEM sensors for something like $40 each. I will do a little checking before proceeding but that is a big difference in price.

Does your car by chance have a CPO? if so, the dealer will replace them at no charge. They just did mine on my 08C2S, all 4 although only one battery had actually gone south.
