Default 997.2 taillight removal

Did a search but couldn't find a DIY for replacing 997.2 OEM tail lights. Is it as simple as removing the two torx screws, pulling the light out and disconnecting the wiring clip? Any tips/tricks for either the removal or re-install?

BTW, I'm replacing my OEM clear tails with the "standard" red lights with clear centres...not a fan of the clear lights...they look kinda cheap to me.

I would assume it's exactly like the 997.1, remove two screws and pull out.

Yes, remove the two torx, pull the tail lamp straight out in the aft direction. There is a tab in the forward corner, so do not twist the assembly, pull straight back. To release the electric plug, you have to depress the small latch with a small scribe or similar tool.

Thanks for the confirmation that it's as simple as it appears...looking at the PET diagram and the light, there are just the two screws and a "tab" under the tapered end of the lens that keep it in place.
