I am going to put a TPC turbo kit on my 08 C4S. I would like to preserve the original ECM and buy a used one. Stock part no is 997 618 603 05. Can anyone tell me if I could use 997 618 603 03? I understand that the original needs to be cloned/copied to the used ECM, then modified. thx

I guess what I really need to know is if the diff in the two parts was just a software change, or was it actually a hardware difference (processor or RAM).

From researching this the hardware looks pretty uniform.
